The 3rd module of ECG Academy was started in the sunny city of Barcelona. This modules main goals were insight on the sea-freight aspect of FVL with visits to Port of Barcelona, Grimaldi Lines and Neptune Lines, their ships and facilities on shore, as well as insight of the procedures of loading operations.
“Seeing the size of the ships and the operations of loading the vehicles puts a new perspective on the outlook on the FVL field. The volume difference is huge, which, in turn, means that mass shipping results in better CO2 emissons for the car deliveries as well as opens the door for effective long-distance deliveries for new and used vehicles.”
ECG Academy in Barcelona was continued with more port visits, as well as the presentations of project work from the groups.
Also, the ECG Academy allumni meeting was being held on Thursday and Friday, with alumnis from previous courses coming together to renew and expand their connections and exchange expiriences.
