Road from Riga to Mykonos in Greece
This morning, after a week long trip through several climate zones, our driver Kaspars Purvēns unloaded several “Gumball” rally cars at Mykonos island in Greece.
Kaspars’ trip from Riga went through nine countries – Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria all the way up to Athens, Greece, where ferry traffic was used to go to scenic island of Mykonos. The island’s serpentines and narrow roads are not really suited for long car carriers, so Kaspars had to show his skill and experience from time to time to transport the cars to the unloading spot!
Gumball 3000 celebrity rally starts this Friday. The 3000 miles long journey will end in the legendary party island Ibiza!
