Kurbads visits Kässbohrer factory in Salzburg
Kurbads Service Manager Ivars Čiblis went on his annual business trip to Austria, where he visited one of Europe's leading car carrier equipment manufacturers - the Kässbohrer factory in Salzburg. Kässbohrer (Kässbohrer Transport Technik GmbH) equipment has been an integral part of the Kurbads fleet for many years, and the cooperation between the two companies is based on trust, quality, and long-term professional partnership.
The visit aimed to evaluate technical innovations, maintenance possibilities, and after-sales service availability to plan the fleet's maintenance and development even more efficiently. At the factory, Ivars was welcomed by Mario Petrischor, Head of Sales and Service Support at Kässbohrer. He provided an in-depth look at the manufacturing processes with his colleagues and presented the latest technological solutions.

Kässbohrer is actively working on several significant improvements - increased payload capacity, modernized electrical systems, and upgraded hydraulics are just some of the technologies that make car carrier equipment even better suited for today's logistics needs. These solutions also impact driver-dispatcher convenience, service regularity, and sustainability.
During the visit, one of the central topics was the after-sales service and spare parts availability for Kässbohrer car carrier equipment in Latvia. Although the current cooperation is successful, new solutions are being explored to make this area even faster and more efficient.
