Delivering filming attributes for a movie Dveselu Putenis

One of the most famous Latvian writers Aleksandrs Grīns wrote his bestseller Dvēseļu Putenis (Blizzard of Souls) about his and fellow soldiers experience in the battlefields of World War I, especially about Latvian Freedom battles in 1919. At the spring of 2019 the filming of the live action movie has come to an end. More than 100 Latvian and foreign cinema professionals worked on this epic project. As it’s well known, one of the vehicle transportation company’s Kurbads car carriers is wrapped in design of colonel Oskars Kalpaks, Freedom battle hero and the first commander of Latvia’s armed forces.

Kurbads accepted this task with great responsibility coming to aid for transportation of huge props of World War I equipment from a museum and small town of Tērvete to the filming location in Cinevilla.

We can’t wait to see director’s Dzintars Dreibergs movie on the big screens. Premiere is scheduled in mid November!
