ISO 9001:2009 standard certification in “Kurbads
“Kurbads” for the fifth year in a row has received a quality management system’s certification ISO 9001:2009. The audit was carried out by world wide known certification firm “Bureau veritas”, which according to their inspection concluded that “Kurbads” executes all requirements needed to receive quality management system’s certificate.
In March 2010 transport company “Kurbads” for the first time acquired quality management system’s certificate. From this date every year “Bureau veritas” in their audits makes sure, that quality management system is maintained according to certain standard requirements.
By implementing and certificating quality management system organisation determines its activities proceedings, that are required to ensure appropriate services and products for clients. Quality management system’s certificate confirms that organisation has a fixed order, that client’s needs are fulfilled from the start till fulfilment.
“Kurbads” human resources manager Lāsma Pikāne says “checks made by the audit firm has had contributions to the company. We carefully listen to recommendations, so from year to year we could offer our clients even higher quality.”
Auditor Sarmīte Zeltnere especially praised warehouse’s work and was satisfied that quality management system is at good level.
