Kurbads detailing team attends Gtechniq conference in the UK

At the end of March, the Kurbads team visited one of the leading auto detailing product manufacturers at the “GTECHNIQ Serum Summit 2023,” which took place at Mercedes-Benz World in Weybridge, United Kingdom. The two-day event was filled with exciting and informative training sessions, demonstrations, and presentations of the latest industry products. Some of the largest industry representatives attended the summit, including RUPES, THE WRAP INSTITUTE, Urable, Menzerna polishing compounds, POKA PREMIUM EQUIPMENT, DETAILEON, Lake Country Manufacturing, and others.
One of the main events of the summit was the presentation of the latest GTECHNIQ products, which the Kurbads team plans to offer to their clients soon. One of these products is the EXOv5 Ultra Durable Hydrophobic Coating, which is the second layer of ceramic coating for car bodywork, providing excellent durability, shine, and smoothness. Compared to its predecessor, the EXOv4, the EXOv5 is even more long-lasting and effective, creating up to a 13-micron coating layer. Another new product presented is the PW Panel Wipe v2, which is specially designed to remove all polishing residues, allowing subsequent chemical coatings to create maximum adhesion to the vehicle’s paint. The new Panel Wipe v2 will have even better connectivity and will be ideal for cars with poorer overall bodywork conditions. The Kurbads team is looking forward to these novelties in their detailing center, so they can soon share the process and results. Another novelty, which will also soon be available in their range, is PPF protective films. These are transparent, thermoplastic urethane films applied to the car’s painted surface to protect it from scratches, stone chips, and other types of damage, as well as to maintain the car’s appearance and resale value. Applying PPF protective films is a highly detailed and specific process. During the summit, with their presentation, tips, and various knives for applying PPF films, they shared their knowledge with others.
