Kurbads visits Hockenheimring racetrack
Thanks to our cooperation partners “Virši-A”, vehicle transportation company’s “Kurbads” representative had an exclusive opportunity to visit Hockenheimring racetrack in Germany to watch the final race of German Car Racing Championship – DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters)
Fuel to “Kurbads” truck fleet is supplied by “Virši-A”, the biggest Latvian based fuel retailer. Edgars Krievāns, head of the “Kurbads” household, had the luck to enjoy the unique opportunity.
“Massive noise! Thanks God, we had ear plugs,” these are the first impressions from Edgars Krievāns. “The promoters of the trip did a good job – our weekend was full of events all day. We visited downtown, drove retro cars and, of course, DTM race in Hockenheim”.
Edgars was a witness of historic moment – Marco Wittmann from BMW team secured his second DTM champion’s title in the race. Edgars also had an exclusive chance to visit the teams in the paddock and to inspect the impressive cars himself.
DTM racing series is one of the most prestigious touring car racing series in the world. Three biggest German car manufacturers, BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, go head to head against each other on the track.
