Unique award made from skeleton received by Kurbads
Unique award made from olympic skeleton sledge in gratitude for excellent cooperation in recent years was given to company „Kurbads un KO” by worldwide famous Latvian skeleton racers Martins and Tomass Dukuri. It will symbolize mutual contribution in future collaborations.
More than three years ago company was looked up by athletes asking to transport from Switzerland parts needed for building the skeleton sledge. „Kurbads” was able to help operatively using their well spread transport web in Europe. That is how mutual friendship began.
„For us very important is timing of delivery and Kurbads can manage ir without delays. We can count on them, reliability and counting on each other iscrucial. Promised schedule is very specific and it never gets changed, which allows us to plan our time perfectly. „Kurbads” works as Swiss watch!”, say skeleton athletes.
Kristīne Rīmene, head of „Kurbads un KO” logistics division admits, that in this case the best are cooperating with the best – for many years the company is leader in car transporting market in Latvia, but Dukur brothers are leaders on the world skeleton stage. „By using our company’s transport webs we have managed to help multiple persons, who are representing Latvia in the world”, – Kristīne adds.
Supporting sport is included in „Kurbads un KO” long term strategy. Company for many seasons is sponsoring the best Latvian moto freestyle racer Jānis Rozītis and the ice hockey club „Kurbads”, winner of Latvian hockey league regular season.
